In anticipation of what would have been David Bowie’s 75th birthday, the David Bowie Estate has announced the launch of “Bowie 75.” Described as the beginning of a “year-long celebration,” two experiential pop-up shops will open, in London (at 14 Heddon Street) and New York City (at 150 Wooster Street). Doors open from October 25 through late January.

The pop-ups will feature immersive and spatial 360 Reality Audio, HD screening rooms with unseen behind-the-scenes footage, and gallery installations. The shops will also host exclusive merchandise, plus limited run LPs and CDs. The announcement promises “intimate special guest events” and the opportunity to take photos with “iconic costumes and set pieces.”

Bowie’s shelved 2001 album Toy is being released on November 26.
